Ordered 280 Midway TE40 Bases (& Caps) from Action Lighting based on significant savings with bulk pricing. Unfortunately, the adage "You get what you pay for" proved accurate. Threading on the Midway bases was very inconsistent and near non-existent in some instances, with issues appearing more frequently on the Red vs. the Yellow. Possibly a molding issue caused by the coloring? I installed the bases/caps on a full marquee on a trailer, experiencing a great deal of difficulty avoiding cross-threading on the sockets and utilizing far too much force to get many tightened. I had previously ordered a smaller quantity from other vendor (Turbolite brand) prior to locating Action Lighting and the better pricing. Installing some of the Turbolite units f, both yellow and red threaded easily and consistently across the full quantity ordered. Had I spend the extra funds, my hours on top of the trailer would have been reduced significantly. Highly disappointed in the quality of the Miday units.
